Only a few short weeks until spring – days are getting longer, the temperatures are milder, and the flowers are beginning to bloom. And, my favorite, the spring peepers will soon be singing outside my bedroom window!
For many of us, spring signals time for a good cleaning, especially when it comes to our wardrobes. We can’t wait to get rid of our heavy sweaters, our dark clothes and donate those items we haven’t worn. However, there is more to spring cleaning than basic de-cluttering, a new season is the perfect time to take stock of your style. Your image works hard for you but it also needs a little push from time to time. Taking time out to refresh your style can go a long way to helping you look your best this spring.
Over a series of posts, I am going to show you 5 ways to spring clean your style. Here is #1.
Color Me Happy
Yes, I know we all love our black, but spring is the time to add color to your wardrobe. Know the colors that work best for you and start incorporating them into your outfits. Take inspiration from spring colors – baby blue robin’s eggs, yellow daffodils, purple hyacinths. Why not try Pantone’s color for 2017 – Greenery, which signifies beginnings, grass and the outdoors. Also, it’s a salute to the environment and the go-green movement!
