Take a favorite scarf and turn it into a kimono!
Here is what you need to think about:
- The scarf should be very lightweight – gauzy, sheer, silk.
- The dimensions are critical – you need a long rectangular scarf. The scarf should be
68″ – 78″ long by 30″-50″ wide.
The length of the scarf determines how big the armholes will be while the width of the scarf determines how long the kimono will hang on you.
- Pick a scarf that goes with your outfit. If you have a wonderful print, then wear it with a monochromatic outfit.
